Katharina Clark

Study Higher Project Officer

I work with the Study Higher Team at Oxford Brookes University

Day to day I help to run various projects for Study Higher based at Oxford Brookes University, these include on campus events such as Passport Days and a Girls in STEM residential. My current role allows me to be really creative in organising events and activities for young people and their parents/carers which I really enjoy. It’s hugely satisfying when you pull off an event that you’ve spent lots of time and effort into planning, as well as having a notable impact on a young person’s educational pathway.

More about me:

After graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Sociology & International Relations, I went on to study the Graduate Diploma in Law in London and worked as a paralegal. I decided it wasn’t for me and returned to Oxford Brookes which is where I’ve been working for almost 3 years! The legal sector is notorious for its lack of diversity – it’s really important to have a more representative legal system. This stemmed my interest in social mobility, both in higher education and industry sectors. Outside of work, I enjoy running and being outside – you can usually find me training for some sort of sporting event!
