We are excited to be working with secondary schools across Oxfordshire as part of the National Collaborative Outreach Project (NCOP). We have two Higher Education Liaison Officers (HELOs) based in Oxfordshire whose main role is to work closely with our target schools, coordinating outreach events and activities, and ensuring schools have access to relevant information about higher education.
Since the start of the project, we’ve delivered and organised various events and activities for our schools in Oxfordshire including UCAS and personal statement workshops, day visits to our partner universities, and Year 12 ‘higher-level learning’ days.
In the summer, we held a Study Higher STEM focused Summer School in partnership with the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University which involved over 30 students from 7 different schools and spanned over 3 days. There were numerous exciting activities such as a quantum physics talk and a K’NEX cars workshop. We will be delivering another STEM focused summer school in 2018, so to ensure you don’t miss the details, sign up for our termly newsletter here.
If you're interested in what we're doing, please feel free to get in contact with our Oxfordshire HELOs to see how Study Higher can work with your school. Use our map to find your school and your dedicated HELO's contact details.
If your school is not shown on our map, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to see how we can work with you.
