Gear Up - Year 10 Vocational Progression event
Study Higher are proud to present the ‘Gear Up’ Roadshow for Year 10 pupils. This event has been designed to provide young people with an opportunity to access impartial information, advice and guidance (IAG) relating to the various post-16 vocational progression pathways available to them.
The ‘Gear Up’ Roadshow will commence with an initial presentation delivered by ADVIZA that will help to identify and explain the different progression routes on offer post-GCSEs. This will be followed by a number of vocational workshops, allowing pupils to explore vocational subject areas of potential interest to them (Engineering, Business, Art & Design and Public Services). In addition to the presentation and workshops, pupils will also have access to the ‘Marketplace’ where a range of exhibitors will be available to explain each of the different pathways and provide information about progression to higher levels of study, careers and employment.
The ‘Gear Up’ Roadshow is an all-day event (10:00am to 3:00pm), which is free for pupils and teachers to attend. Lunch and refreshments will be provided courtesy of Study Higher. Schools wishing to bus pupils to the event can also apply for assistance to cover the cost of the transport and staff cover for the day (available on request). Finally, if your school 6th Form would like to have a stand in the marketplace, please contact to arrange a table.
We hope your school will take up this opportunity and look forward to welcoming you to the ‘Gear Up’ Roadshow.
