Through interactive workshops and lectures by leading academics, we'll be thinking about the issues that confront us when we read texts that have been published recently. There will also be an opportunity for students to practise creative writing with members of staff from our Department. This event will be useful for anyone studying twenty-first century literature, anyone preparing for assessments based on unseen texts, and for anyone thinking about studying English Literature and/or Creative Writing at university.
This event is free of charge but places are limited so we advise early booking. Please pass on the attached poster and application form to any of your students who might be interested. The poster and booking form can also be downloaded by following this link.
School groups (and their teachers!) are very welcome, but we do ask each student to complete an application form so that we can ensure the limited number place go to the students who are most engaged with the topic.
