Coming into school for a revision skills workshop on your first day off since the start of the term demonstrates a serious commitment to succeeding in your GCSEs. This is exactly what nearly sixty selected students from Lawn Manor Academy did during their half term holiday in October and set themselves up for success in their GCSEs by doing so.
Sander from MADE Training delivered two key, dynamic sessions for students, focused on exam preparation and how to apply the theory of Marginal Gains in their lives. Equipped with trusty highlighters courtesy of MADE, students delved into Memory Palaces and experimented with mind-mapping. A well-deserved pizza break in the middle of the day refreshed motivation levels and kept everyone focused throughout the sessions.
A huge thank you to the school and staff for facilitating this and for enabling Study Higher to offer such a great opportunity for students on the first day of the holidays. To the students, well done on working so hard and best of luck as you put your learning into action over the coming months!
