This year Rewise (Learnthrumusic) provided an awareness raising workshop to a group of Year 12 students from the Study Higher target school Blessed Hugh Faringdon.
Rewise (LearnThruMusic) offer sessions which aim to develop soft and hard skills through writing, composing and performing music. These sessions aim to increase confidence and in turn help participants to become more efficient and effective learners.
The recent session Rewise ran for Study Higher involved a number of Year 12 students and explored the wide range of music based courses at university and the many career options open to those going down this route. The session was run by two music producers who have lots of experience of working with young people. It was highly interactive, with all participants helping to create a piece of music using state of the art sampling equipment.
