For students in these schools to be eligible for support they need to live in specific postcode areas. Click here to find out more about this targeted support and how to identify which of your students are eligible.

Why does the 'Targeted Support' work with certain postcodes?

We want to make sure our work is really targeted according to need so we work with areas that meet these criteria:

  • Low levels of participation in Higher Education overall
  • A ‘gap’ in higher education participation – i.e. participation in higher education is lower than would be expected given GCSE attainment levels.

The Outreach Hub

The Outreach Hub works with all schools across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Swindon, providing funding for coaches and teacher cover to access HE events, as well to faciliate access to exisiting free outreach provision from our HEI partners.

To access a list of the schools the Hub can support click here. (If you can't find your school but believe it should be suported by the Hub, get in touch via email).
