New College Swindon has enjoyed tremendous growth without compromising finances or quality. Learners have risen from 1700 in 1996 to over 8000 in 2015/16.
New College Swindon currently offers Higher Education programmes in Public Services, Criminology, Health and Social Care, Early Years, Art (Textiles and Fashion), Creative Media (TV and Film), Art (Media Make-Up) and Business.
New College Swindon welcome all ability levels from entry to higher and cover most sector skills areas with their network of partners. They work with Government departments, the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), local authorities, MPs, employers, Chambers of Commerce, Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), the voluntary sector, schools and private training providers on a wide range of initiatives.
They also have a number of University partnerships including Bath Spa University, Oxford Brookes University and the University of Gloucestershire. They also work with other FE Colleges and private providers to share good practice and build capacity and quality. Partnership working has helped develop high quality learning and services for learners.

Staff have a strong commitment to personal development and work hard to improve the quality of learning, teaching and assessment. They achieved ‘Sunday Times Best 100 Best Places to work in the public sector’ as well as a ‘good with outstanding features’ report from OFSTED in 2014.
